Totalitarian control anyone, Bueller? Ben Rhodes worries
that government can’t edit peoples Facebook posts, he’s concerned that we don’t have the infrastructure to edit personal postings that he might be judged to be ‘fake news.’ That would be the same Ben bragging about the echo chamber he created over the Iran deal. Would that be the type of fake news Ben’s worried about? He’s worried that Facebook posts might impact electoral results. Ben is worried that the government doesn’t have even more control
over your life and liberty. Help me out here; why would anyone be listening to Ben Rhodes?
Bill’s on board. Hillary’s excuses for her horrific election loss are apparently not sufficient. Bill Clinton found something new to blame the loss on. Jill Stein. Bill says Stein was the “preferred alternative for the Russians.” Bill is apparently trying to get on board the Russia, Russia, Russia train just as everyone else seems to be getting off at the station.
How dare you? Twitter’s founder Jack Dorsey (@Jack on twitter) was bullied into apologizing for eating at Chick-fil-A because of the Chick-fil-A’s CEO’s personal stand against gay marriage. Soledad O’Brien joined the Greek Chorus castigating Dorsey. Ms. O’Brien apparently forgot that she appeared at an event in Colorado sponsored by Chick-fil-A. As Chris Plant is fond of saying, if Liberals didn’t have double standards they would have no standards at all. We might well be reminded of George Carlin’s take on political correctness; “political correctness is fascism pretending to be manners.”
What? During the G-7 summit Justin Trudeau’s pasted on eyebrow decided to go its own way. Come on man, Canadian men don’t paste on eyebrows.
Oh, the patriarchy. The real life feminist book store that’s best known for serving as the set to one of Portlandia’s most famous skits is closing, citing low energy from the community, drops in sales, rising rents, and, of course, cis white people. If you haven’t been keeping up cis is the new gender identification for straight people. No comments regarding the management strategy of targeting 4% of the population with exclusionary marketing.
