With all the talk of refugees fleeing authoritarian socialist dictatorships like Cuba and Venezuela, we’ve overlooked the plight of domestic refugees fleeing the socialist dictatorship right in our own backyard. That’s right, my fellow Americans, we are ignoring the plight of the poor, unfortunate souls stuck in the socialist utopia known as “San Francisco.” Many of these folks have decided that living inside the compounds of the San Francisco socialist dictatorship has become too much of a burden on them, and they’re seeking greener pastures.
As citizens living outside this socialist sh–hole, we must do our part to take in these refugees, and give them what they seek. As KPIX 5 reports, San Francisco continues to face a mass exodus of citizens:
The number of people packing up and moving out of the Bay Area just hit its highest level in more than a decade.
Carole Dabak spent 40 years living in San Jose and now she’s part of the mass exodus that is showing no signs of slowing down.
The retired engineer’s packing up and calling it quits about to move to the state of Tennessee.
“I loved it here when I first got here. I really loved it here. But it’s just not the same,” Dabak said.
Dabak cites crowding, crime and politics as the reasons for her own exodus.
“We don’t like it here anymore. You know, we don’t like this sanctuary state status and just the politics,” she said.
She plans to sell her home for about $1 million, buy a much larger place near Nashville for less than half that and retire closer to family and friends.
Clearly Ms. Dabak is racist since she’s citing San Francisco’s sanctuary status as a reason for moving. I don’t know why she hates criminal illegal aliens if not for the color of their skin, but clearly she does. It’s rather selfish to want something outside the city walls when you can live in harmony with the winning combination of MS-13 and the highest rates of public urination in the country. Frankly, I can’t figure out why we’re not all moving to San Francisco with those kinds of stats!
Seriously though, are we surprised? Who would want to live in a city where the elected city council cares more for the well-being of criminal illegal aliens than it does about actual citizens. Beyond the problems of crime, drugs and homelessness, the housing market is also a reason why people are abandoning the city. It costs a fortune to live in this paradise for even a one-bedroom apartment. The city, of course, does not agree with improving things for the lives of citizens so forget it, there will be no new building despite a high demand. Instead, you can have expensive housing, rampant homelessness, and criminal alien street gangs peeing all over the sidewalks.
The real question is whether we, in the rest of America, should open our doors to these refugees of socialist utopia. You built it, you keep it! I would propose that we allow people to exit San Francisco, and go to a nice red state, like Texas or Tennessee, but under one condition: They cannot vote for at least 2 years until their socialist tendencies dissolve and they sign an agreement not to ruin somewhere else with the same asinine policies that are ruining California.
Then, and only then, can middle America rescue the downtrodden in San Francisco, Cuba, and anywhere else that socialism is being inflicted.
