At least he can admit he “got his butt kicked in Nevada” so I know he isn’t completely naive. He does a good job of
pointing out spinning the fact that this election is about the issues, not the fact that he is losing and will not become the nominee.
He says this is a “long process” but he’s wrong this year, it’s rather short actually. Come Super Tuesday when Edwards doesn’t win a single state, perhaps the cold hard reality will eventually begin setting it.
Furthermore, the difference between the media burying McCain last September and John Edwards is that there are no clear front runners on the Republican side. Clearly on the Democratic side there are two front runners, neither of which are Edwards.
