Video: Hillary Clinton on Meet The Press 1/13/08

Here is the video of Hillary’s entire interview this morning on Meet the Press with Tim Russert.

It’s in 5 parts hosted on YouTube, they’ll advance automatically:

A report on the appearance from WIS-TV:

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – WIS News 10 played host to one of the biggest political interview shows on television Sunday morning, and also one of the country’s biggest political stars.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sat in the hot seat, taking questions from NBC’s Tim Russert for an hour-long session of Meet the Press.

The two discussed foreign policy, the environment, Clinton’s presidential race with Illinois Senator Barack Obama, and even the Monica Lewinsky scandal during her husband’s second term as president.

Then this from First Read:

COLUMBIA, S.C. — If you’re looking for a good picture to illustrate the “New Hillary” — look at how Clinton acted after Meet the Press. She was greeted by supporters as she left the studio here where the show was taped, and she took a detour on the way to her car to reach through the iron gate to shake hands. After a few seconds, she gestured and said “I’ll come around” and walked out onto the sidewalk to continue greeting people.

People on the street were surprised. “I can’t believe that just happened!” commented one volunteer in a Hillary T-shirt said, looking at the hand Clinton was shaking.

Perhaps she is trying to increase her likability numbers to at least begin competing with Obama.

What’d you all think of her performance?

Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee were on morning shows as well, they’re also currently uploading and will be online later.
