Here you can watch the entire video of the Des Moines Register/Iowa Public Television Democratic Presidential Debate which aired today, 12/13/07. It’s in 9 parts hosted on YouTube, they will advance automatically.
This is the feed from Fox News, they show the little graphs of moderate and liberal voters giving real time feedback to what they’re hearing. Graphs going up is a good response, graphs going down is negative. It’s interesting to watch.
In my opinion, there wasn’t a clear winner really, similar to the Republican Iowa Debate. However, that being said, Hillary had the most to lose in my opinion and from many accounts, she may have given Obama a victory in Iowa. Only the polls will tell us the outcome in a few days but Obama came off much more likable than Hillary did. He had thoughtful answers while Hillary seemed scripted and calculating.
Given Iowa’s reputation of upsetting Washington convention, I’m guessing there’s a good chance they’re going to do so come January 3rd. That us, unless something changes between now and then giving Hillary the upper hand.
