John Edwards must need to raise money off Coulter, again

Via ABCNews:

ABC News’ Rick Klein Reports: Former Sen. John Edwards on Friday fired the latest round in his ongoing verbal feud with Ann Coulter, calling her a “she-devil” at a public event before quickly adding that he shouldn’t engage in name-calling.

“We know these people. We know their game plan. They’re going to attack us personally,” Edwards said. “They attacked Elizabeth personally, because she stood up to that she-devil Ann Coulter. … I should not have name-called. But the truth is — forget the names — people like Ann Coulter, they engage in hateful language.”

Lest we forget what his wife said earlier when she confronted Ann Coulter on Lardball:

Elizabeth Edwards: I’m calling you … in the South when someone does something that displeases us, we wanna ask them politely to stop doing it. Uh – I’d like to ask Ann Coulter — if she wants to debate on issues, on positions — we certainly disagree with nearly everything she said on your show today — but uh it’s quite another matter for these personal attacks that the things she has said over the years not just about John but about other candidates. It lowers our political dialogue precisely at the time that we need to raise it. So I want to use the opportunity … to ask her politely stop the personal attacks.

I want to personally implore Ann Coulter to being raising money off John Edwards’ comments. He obviously needs to start raising money so he’s trying to create a new video clip he can email around to brain dead supporters to send him more “Coulter cash”.

Elizabeth Edwards: It debases political dialogue. It drives people away from the process. We can’t have a debate about issues if you’re using this kind of language.

Lest we also forget that John Edwards is the king of raising the political dialog:

Best comment ever:

Who is Edwards to accuse Coulter of being hateful when it’s Edwards supporters who slander Christians and called the Pope a dictator? Oh that’s right, it’s become hip in the Democratic Party to pick on Christians!

I concur.
