In the news recently, the government saw fit to bail-out the banks and Wall Street by giving them $700,000,000,000. This done in order to save our economic system (eledgedly). But, did they save US for real, or doom us to life on the edge of our seats for the rest of our natural born lives? Because of this urgency to rescue them, banks are going to make it even harder for the common man/woman to get a loan in order to purchase homes, cars, start new business’, ect, because they don’t want to end up in the same situation again.
Your credit is going to have to be damn near perfect in order to survive in our own country. Yet who has to pay the money back? Thats right…. US! The citizens whom are not even going to benefit from this “eledged bailout.” The rich get richer and the poor don’t get a thing. Our government has given these financial titans more money than enough, while we get taxed to the max.
My dilema with the whole situation is, why do for one what you can’t do for another. I’m quite sure the regular people of America could stand to be “bailed out.” There is over 308,000,000 people in the United States; atleast 175,000,000 of them could stand to be “bailed out” (if not more). Think about it for a second.
If they really want to get our economy back on track, they should give every AMERICAN CITIZEN $1,000,000 and watch how quickly our economy bounce back. Thats only a little over $308 million to the American citizens. They gave the banks $700 billion. Do the math- $308,000,000 to $700,000,000,000. The money they give the people would only peanuts compared to what they gave Wall Street. Homelessness and hunger would be a thing of the past. The crime rate would drop dramatically. Homes would be brought; cars would be moving off lots; jobs would be created; healthcare and education would not be an issue; the economy would be alive again. A million per AMERICAN CITIZEN is only an investment in our economy!!!
But the government won’t do this because the system of checks and balances will not allow this. They want us (the citizens) to have to grobble and beg for a loan to make our lives a little better. They want us to have to rely on them for life itself. Again, “the rich get richer, and the poor gets poorer.” They think that everyone is living on the same plain… everyone living in America is fine. Its cool for us (the citizens) to pay for war, and pay for the governments shortfalls ($700,000,000,000 in shortfalls). The people can barely get to work because gas is so high. And if they can get to, they have to miss a meal somewhere down the line because there is no food in the homes.
When will the government BAIL OUT THE CITIZENS of the United States.
