Baseball legend Hank Aaron says GOP is “KKK with neckties”

Speaking along the lines of the new “civil tone” that President Obama set forth in American politics, baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron had some decidedly poignant and well-vetted thoughts regarding Republican opposition to the Obama administration’s policies.

Based on the President’s new guidelines for political speech, is this type of incendiary attack considered justifiable or is it fine since it didn’t come from Sarah Palin?

Baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron compared Republicans that oppose President Barack Obama to the Ku Klux Klan.

Speaking to USA Today Tuesday on the 40th anniversary of his then record-breaking 715th home run, the 80-year-old Aaron said that Republicans are hindering Obama’s job performance.

“Sure, this country has a black president, but when you look at a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all of the Republicans with the way he’s treated,” Aaron told USA Today Sports.

Aaron continued: “The bigger difference is that back then they had hoods. Now they have neckties and starched shirts.”

Aaron stated that there is still room for improvement for race relations in the U.S.

I’m glad he thinks there is still room to improve race relations while simultaneously saying Republicans amount to little more than a clan meeting. I’m trying to think of something comparable but this one has jumped the shark. Then again, is it any less civil than what an average primetime MSNBC anchor says on a weekly basis?

Pssst!….. Hank baby it’s not the republicans job to assist the President to accomplish every cockamamie idea he has in his little socialist noggin. As a matter of fact when “W” was in office the left swore it was “patriotic” to oppose the president! There is a reason the party not holding office is called the opposition party …..ALTHOUGH I TRULY BELIEVE WE NEED TO TAKE A BASEBALL BAT TO THE RINO’s TO REMIND THEM.

    Upon further thought:

Mr. Aaron YOUR PRESIDENT DOESN’T SEEM TO BELIEVE HE NEEDS THE REPUBLICANS NOR THE CONSTITUTION TO PAST HIS AGENDA! As he so confidently stated “I HAVE MY PEN and PHONE”! He then sends out his useful idiots in Congress and the MSM to INFORM THE MISCREANT PUBLIC TO STOP CLINGING TO THEIR BIBLE’S AND THEIR GUNS to proclaim what “THE ONE” has decided on our behalf and how well it is working. Another method that President Obama finds especially comes in handy right before ELECTION CYCLES (Pssst! any republicans running for office this November are you listening?)is where he gives away exemptions to college tuition debt, free birth control to the 30 and under crowd, amnesty to ILLEGAL ALIENS and any number of other perks to “LOW INFORMATION VOTERS” willing to sell their vote.

So Mr.Aaron you see your bogeyman under the bed isn’t really necessary …..but it is red meat and plays well to the guilt ridden left and may even help get out some votes this November so that the liberal doesn’t lose as many seats as predicted.

“… quote the President gave in a 1984 debate”

“I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally.”

Millions are not going to be transporting out of our Country. Now they receive benefits to our determent as outlined by Nate in one of his articles.

“Amnesty” alone is despicable. With Reagan:

“How President Reagan’s immigration reform failed”

    April 1, 2013

“Today, that 1986 law is widely regarded as a missed opportunity and, at worst, a well-intentioned failure. For many, it stands as a blueprint of mistakes to be avoided as another president and yet another Congress prepare to take on the still-vexing issue of illegal immigration.”

Two issue UP IN THE AIR (READ carefully bob):

“Questions of citizenship and border security remain sticking points as groups of senators and House members work to come up with a new package of comprehensive reforms.”

What Republicans are speaking of amnesty WITHOUT QUESTION as of now ??? Solution NOT blind eye to problem. That’s irresponsibility.

Illegals DO COST our economy as Nate points out. SO DOES off the books cash pay,Medicare fraud, etc.. Time to confront TO FIX.
