  5. It was determined on October 5th, 2011 that PBS will host a presidential debate on March 19th, 2012. Oregon will host a key Republican presidential debate to be held this spring in the thick of the primary season, the state’s GOP party announced Wednesday.

The Oregon GOP will sponsor the debate in partnership with Oregon Public Broadcasting and The Washington Times. NPR and PBS will make the debate available to member stations across the country in a live broadcast at 6 pm on Monday, March 19 from OPB’s studios in Portland.

The debate will be aired on public radio and television to reach “all Americans,” not just cable customers, the GOP said in its news release. Source: http://news.opb.org/artic.....op-debate/

  9. Could you get them to ask following question?

60 Minutes recently reported that a
large number of republican congressman including at least one former speaker who is a presidential candidate have signed a pledge to never vote to raise taxes. Do the candidates think this is appropriate for a presidential candidate? I am Republician but find this practice not appropriate for the people who pass our laws. Sometime it is necessary to add taxes on those who can easily pay them.

  10. I wish someone had the courage to ask the pres. elect an y/n question. If elected, will on your first day of office take an 10% paycut and lead and force everybody, congress, the whole govt the same 10% cut down the line even to social security, unemployed etc. It’s simple as that. Yes or no period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
make it an two part question so at least we will know if the pres. elect with take an paycut.

  11. I know Ron Paul is taking less pay now and would if elected.
He feels same way about PERKS like all the traveling around the world and office expenses, etc..

The pay, I am less concerned about, is the perks that really cost big $$$. obuma jumped all over Wall Street over Bonus yet Fannie & Freddie bonus he ignores. We will NEVER recover all our tax monies loaned to F/F.

I remember how liberals jumped G.W. Bush for all his golf, yet nothing said about obuma playing more already than Bush did in 8 years. Bush debt long ago out did by the BUM…
