It is very simple, 300 million Americans under one health care plan. (40 million can't pay or need help paying) Add 15% to your current Health care and everone is happy. Then add another 10% for Governmental fees and another 5% for processing and handling. As unemployment rises and undocumented workers show up to the emergency room add 10% more! Add 5% for inflation and 5% for weekends and holidays. Also add 8% for non covered items which were overlooked in the original processing and handling. Then if you have any money left, we will take that too!

Now wasn't that simple!

THE YOUNG TURN AGAINST OBAMACARE

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

Support/Oppose Obama plan, combined data for Arkansas, North Dakota and Maine

Age Support/Oppose Obama Plan

Under 30 25-65

30-49 28-60

50-64 41-50

Over 65 32-55

“The polling had predicted that the young would swing sharply and dramatically against the Obama program once they got the key information about it, but we are blown away by these results.”

“These data are from polls the League of American Voters commissioned John Zogby to conduct. Commenting on the results, John said, "These results among 18- to 29-year-olds are striking. It puts in jeopardy the whole theory of the new Democratic majority, because young people are essential to that base."

“Boy, is he ever correct!”

I remember when non-Conservatives liked polls. How things change in little over 10 months…

Die heart obamaites are messing in their pants multiple times daily. Gets rougher by each announcement coming from Washington DC to deny the damning evidents. obama-garbage effect of liberalism ideas. Pork unleashed, unchecked, without morals and running rampant is a horrible, horrible sight.

How many $millions in payola will result from purposed across the board tax to pay for war. Will we be voting Nation wide for or against war.

Health care cost is already riddle with pork to try and pass this bill. With Acorn involved.

No wonder polls show negative numbers.

The inherent resilience of our economy may recover in spite of obama economic fiasco. As Congress ignores the public…

"I believe there are a number of Democratic senators who do care what the American people think and are not interested in this sort of arrogant approach that everybody sort of shut up and sit down, get out of the way, we know what's best for you," said McConnell.

“RI bishop asked Kennedy in 2007 to avoid Communion”
?
By RAY HENRY, Associated Press Writer Ray Henry, Associated Press Writer – 1 hr 28 mins ago

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – “The Roman Catholic bishop of Rhode Island said Sunday that he asked Rep. Patrick Kennedy in a 2007 letter to stop receiving Communion, the central sacrament of the church, because of the congressman's public stance on moral issues.”

“Bishop Thomas Tobin divulged details of his confidential exchange with Kennedy after the Democratic lawmaker told The Providence Journal in a story published Sunday that Tobin had instructed him not to receive Communion. The two men have clashed repeatedly in the past few weeks over abortion.”
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091122/ap_on_re_us/us_ri_bishop_kennedy

Not the first Kennedy I bet !!!

I understand a group of religious leaders have joined together to take a stand. Have no idea if this is part of that.

If this is their ‘civil disobedience’ more power to them.

"To Create Jobs, Voters Say Cut Taxes and Stop Spending"

Thursday, November 19, 2009

"As the policy debate has unfolded in Washington this year, voters have consistently believed that tax cuts would do more than increased government spending to stimulate the economy and create jobs. Now that the nation’s unemployment rate has reached 10.2%, voters continue to hold that view."

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 62% believe tax cuts are a better way to create jobs and fight unemployment. Only 21% believe that additional stimulus spending is a more effective tool. Earlier this year, as the first stimulus package was being debated in Congress, 62% of voters wanted the plan to have more tax cuts and less spending."

"Given a different choice today, 51% believe canceling the rest of the stimulus money would create more jobs while 32% say spending the money would be the better approach to job creation. These findings are consistent with earlier polling. Most Americans say that, generally speaking, increased government spending is bad for the economy. Earlier this year, before the unemployment rate had reached its current highs, 45% wanted to cancel the rest of the stimulus spending while just 36% disagreed."

"While voters believe that tax cuts and stopping spending is the path to job creation, the Political Class disagrees. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of those in the Political Class say that spending the stimulus money would create more jobs than canceling the remaining stimulus spending. Fifty-five percent (55%) of the Political Class believes that new spending will create more jobs than tax cuts. Only 13% believe the tax cutting would do more (see more on the Political Class)."

"On both questions, there is also a substantial partisan divide. Democrats are fairly evenly divided on both questions while Republicans overwhelmingly believe that canceling the rest of the stimulus money and cutting taxes are better job creation tools than additional stimulus spending."

"As for those not affiliated with either major party, just over 50% say that stopping spending and cutting taxes is the best way to create jobs."

"The survey also found that most voters are skeptical about claims of government job creation. Most (58%) say it’s unlikely that the stimulus plan has saved or created more than 600,000 jobs."

"Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters are opposed to a second stimulus package."

It is expected the bill will be allowed to continue tonight. Those who could have stopped has said they will vote in hopes of changing it. It takes 60 for bill to continue. Foolish statement, who believes them.

Those voting to continue are fooling no one informed. Only takes 50 to pass bill. I think we know the one who breaks ties is Biden.

Is inevitable bill will pass if it goes through tonight.

Appears all Republicans are voting against. Siding with majority of citizens, as seen in all the polls I am aware of.

No doubt the face of Congress will change. Ending public health. Hopefully in 2010.

Only taxes will show their evil face upon passing of bill. Plan set to take effect 2013-2015, but rush was necessary. Profile of Congress will not exist long. Obama wants to steal the money.

Great amount of pay-off has got it through…

How appropriate that Dodd is in charge. He could easily be gone next year. He’s up for re-election.

Remember obama offer to go over health bill line by line. Rep. Roe, who is Doctor took obama at his word, well wanted to discuss. He followed all request given to him. No, President did not meet to discuss. Guess obama is either unable to muti-task or is a liar. Maybe both.

"Al Gore: Earth's Interior 'Extremely Hot, Several Million Degrees'"

"For several years as uneducated sycophants in the media gushed and fawned over every utterance from former Vice President Al Gore, NewsBusters has informed readers of just how absurd the junk science he's peddling really is.
Last Thursday, NBC "Tonight Show" viewers got a perfect example of how the Nobel Laureate basically makes things up, and that his poor grades in college were quite an indicator of just how little he understands about science.
So egregious was his departure from reality that the following clip should be mandatory viewing for all his fans in the media who seem to be just as scientifically-challenged."

"Greenland Ice Find Debunks Al Gore’s Global Warming Theories"

By Noel Sheppard
July 7, 2007 - 09:19 ET

"Just in time for worldwide concerts to draw attention to the planet’s imminent doom at the hands of anthropogenic global warming, a new find in Greenland suggests that much of the hysteria in Al Gore’s schlockumentary “An Inconvenient Truth” has absolutely no basis in scientific fact."

"Even though this study will likely get little to no attention from a media in full fawn mode over Gore and his Live Earth concerts, the findings throw a huge monkey wrench into alarmist warnings of climate-related devastation to the planet and species offered as reasons for developed nations to radically change behavior.
As marvelously reported by the Boston Globe Friday (h/t Benny Peiser, emphasis added."

"An international team of scientists, drilling deep into the ice layers of Greenland, has found DNA from ancient spiders and trees, evidence that suggests the frozen shield covering the immense island survived the earth's last period of global warming."

"The findings, published today in the journal Science, indicate Greenland's ice may be less susceptible to the massive meltdown predicted by computer models of climate change, the article's main author said in an interview."

“The $100 Million Health Care Vote?”

November 19, 2009 3:03 PM

ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports:

“What does it take to get a wavering senator to vote for health care reform?”

H”ere’s a case study.”

“On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”

“The section spends two pages defining which “states” would qualify, saying, among other things, that it would be states that “during the preceding 7 fiscal years” have been declared a “major disaster area.”

“I am told the section applies to exactly one state: Louisiana, the home of moderate Democrat Mary Landrieu, who has been playing hard to get on the health care bill“.

“In other words, the bill spends two pages describing would could be written with a single world: Louisiana. (This may also help explain why the bill is long.)”

“Senator Harry Reid, who drafted the bill, cannot pass it without the support of Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu.”

“How much does it cost? According to the Congressional Budget Office: $100 million.”

“It is funny watching you guys chase your tails. I expect it of Bill but it is shocking watching, Nate.
I don’t know how you all can defend healthcare cost raising in the private market but slam it in the public. Either it is bad all together or it isn’t. It is pure denial if you can’t admit the failure of the private market concerning healthcare costs.”

I am going to answer JD in depth. Not for his benefit. It’s not a beneficial for him. I have no illusion that he can read with comprehension.

His humor is baseless and knowledge of topic limited to liberal propaganda. Such facts work on CNN shows with 5 minute discussions with friendly commentator. But public has tired of CNN and ratings are falling. Public not falling for stuff JD preaches. While Fox gains to new height.

Liberal radio and television are failing except in a few sections of our land. Not so for Conservative programs.

It may be funny to you JD, though I doubt it. You know the polls don’t back you political views. Unless you are a buffoon.

The public plan is subsidized by private companies meaning their members in taxes against those companies. Doctor prices to public members are forced lower thus private is charged more to make up. Medical supplies are taxed. Medicines companies are taxed. Etc. Get the idea JD.

That premium paid on public plan is just tip of iceberg. A rouges.

Add in all the other taxes that are not taxes and you have massive money, needed to support obama socialist programs. Appearing to raise no taxes on those making less than $250,000. As often as he can tax increases must be indirect, so dummies like yourself will blame evil business for increasing their profit when in fact it is government.

JD writes “how you all can defend healthcare cost raising in the private market but slam it in the public”. Naturally there is no quote. JD, your wording and version of events is purely a figment of your imagination.

Had you bothered to read comments on this site we have discussed how government cause private companies cost to rise. But seriously been done so many times what is use of telling you again. Read for the first time past comments.

Least we forget. This to has been repeatedly said here before to JD :

"OBAMACARE = BIG STATE TAX HIKES"

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

November 20, 2009

"Anxious to avoid raising taxes too much to pay for their health care proposals, the Obama Administration and its Congressional allies hit on a great new idea: Make the states raise their taxes to fund the program instead."

"Both the House and the Senate bills require that states cover a larger percentage of their people under Medicaid - a joint state and federally funded program. The idea was to force the state to raise their taxes to cover a big part of the health care bill for treating poor people. Since the Feds can simply charge any increase in spending to their already overdrawn bank account, but the states have to balance their budgets, the increased state spending for Medicaid will cause sharp increases in state taxes. And the Governors will get the blame, not Obama and not the Congress."

"The House bill requires states to give Medicaid to those whose incomes are less than 150% of the poverty level while the Senate requires coverage up to 125%. For most states, this is a hefty increase."

"In some states, like New York, where Medicaid covers everyone making 150% of the poverty level already, there will not be any extra required spending."

"But not so in California, which only covers 100% of the poverty level. Were the House bill to pass, the already fiscally beleaguered state would have to increase its Medicaid spending on poor people by 50%, at least an extra $2 billion a year and perhaps more."

"In many Southern states, the Medicaid program only covers a portion of those living below the poverty level. For these states, the requirement to cover all those in poverty and then 50% more will cause enormous increases in taxes. In Arkansas and Louisiana, where swing Senators Pryor, Lincoln, and Landrieu come from, the cost could exceed $1 billion for each state each year."

"Unfunded mandates for state spending imposed from on high in Washington have always rankled governors. The Senators and Congressmen in Washington get the credit for spreading largesse but the Governors in the states get the blame for the taxes that are needed to pay for it."

"Since Democrats currently control the vast majority of governorships, this process of making their own party members take the rap for raising taxes is politically self-destructive in the extreme. But Obama is so desperate to pass his health care legislation that he doesn't care what havoc in his party he reaps in the process."

"The question now is whether the governors of the fifty states, particularly the Democrats, are going to sit idly by and let their budgets be destroyed by the health care bill."

"When the Republicans in Congress insisted on tacking big cuts in aid to legal immigrant benefits for disability and other areas onto the welfare reform bill, it was the Republican governors who forced them to repeal the pernicious cuts the very next year. They did not want to have to raise taxes to make up for the withdrawal of federal funding."

"Now the Democratic governors face the same situation. If Obamacare passes with its expansion of Medicaid benefits - but with no federal funding of the extra spending - it is these Democrats and their legislatures that will have to bite the bullet and pass new taxes to pay for it."

"Since states are already facing mammoth financial problems as a result of dwindling revenues and swelling expenditures in the recession, these additional burdens could be politically fatal. Unless Democratic governors want to avoid the fate of one of their late brethren, former Governor Jon Corzine of New Jersey, whose political career was ended in a blaze of new taxes, they might want to call their buddies in Congress and ask them to lay off the unfunded mandates, particularly during this recession."

I understand some Democrats demanded this bill be public 3 days before vote. WOW.

“Republicans blast 'bait and switch' health bill”
?
By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent David Espo, Ap Special Correspondent – 13 mins ago

WASHINGTON – “Digging in for a long struggle, Republican senators and governors assailed the Democrats' newly minted health care legislation Thursday as a collection of tax increases, Medicare cuts and heavy new burdens for deficit-ridden states.”

"It makes no sense at all and affronts common sense," said Sen. Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, one of several Republicans to criticize the measure. He added that a plan to expand Medicaid, the state-federal program for the poor, was a "bait and switch" with states as the victims.”

“GOP governors, meeting in Texas, agreed. "We all know a sucker play when we see one," said Mitch Daniels of Indiana. The bill would expand the Medicaid program, which provides health care for the poor, and leave the states with part of the additional cost beginning after three years.”

“Officially, the Congressional Budget Office said the measure would reduce deficits by $130 billion over the next decade with probable small reductions in the 10 years that follow — forecasts that cheered rank-and-file Democrats. Among the cost-cutting provisions would be creation of an Independent Medicare Advisory Board which could be required to recommend steps limiting the growth of the program that provides health care to millions of seniors. The recommendations would go into effect automatically unless Congress blocked them.”

WASHINGTON – “Digging in for a long struggle, Republican senators and governors assailed the Democrats’ newly minted health care legislation Thursday as a collection of tax increases, Medicare cuts and heavy new burdens for deficit-ridden states.”

“It makes no sense at all and affronts common sense,” said Sen. Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, one of several Republicans to criticize the measure. He added that a plan to expand Medicaid, the state-federal program for the poor, was a “bait and switch” with states as the victims.”

“GOP governors, meeting in Texas, agreed. “We all know a sucker play when we see one,” said Mitch Daniels of Indiana.
