Nancy Pelosi is a born Republican (she pretends to be otherwise, but the woman has no idea what Americans are facing today. She sits in her fine mansion, with a bordeuax, a cook, and maidservice and dictates that the poor and middle class will have insurance or go to jail...jesus! Is this Hitler in the remake? Most folks are trying to figure out how to make it, aka lost jobs, and now this government is looking to put people in jail and take what little they have left? Both the Republicans and Dems dont have a clue....Oil is too damn high (triple the cost today) Health Insurance is over the top! And those in the White House get raise upon raise, while they let big corp's rob the American people. They are all to blame. You don't see them accepting pay cuts. And all of their transportation costs are covered. They do not have a clue of the struggles of America! The People!

"OBAMACARE ENDORSEMENTS: WHAT THE BRIBE WAS"

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

November 6, 2009

"As the suicidal Democratic congressmen proceed to rubber-stamp the Obama healthcare reform despite the drubbing their party took in the '09 elections, the president trotted out the endorsements of the AMA and the AARP to stimulate support. But these -- and the other endorsements -- his package has received are all bought and paid for."

"Here are the deals:"

* The American Medical Association (AMA) was facing a 21 percent cut in physicians' reimbursements under the current law. Obama promised to kill the cut if they backed his bill. The cuts are the fruit of a law requiring annual 5-6 percent reductions in doctor reimbursements for treating Medicare patients. Bravely, each year Congress has rolled the cuts over, suspending them but not repealing them. So each year, the accumulated cuts threaten doctors. By now, they have risen to 21 percent. With this blackmail leverage, Obama compelled the AMA to support his bill...or else!"

* "The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the healthcare bill. Over the past decade, the AARP has morphed from an advocacy group to an insurance company (through its subsidiary company). It is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off. But President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, the elderly get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician. So more than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues."

"Presto! Obama solved their problem. He eliminates subsidies for Medicare Advantage. The elderly will have to pay more for coverage under Medigap, but the AARP -- which supposedly represents them -- will make more money."

*" The drug industry backed ObamaCare and, in return, got a 10-year limit of $80 billion on cuts in prescription drug costs. (A drop in the bucket of their almost $3 trillion projected cost over the next decade.) They also got administration assurances that it will continue to bar lower-cost Canadian drugs from coming into the U.S. All it had to do was put its formidable advertising budget at the disposal of the administration."

* "Insurance companies got access to 40 million potential new customers. But when the Senate Finance Committee lowered the fine that would be imposed on those who don't buy insurance from $3,500 to $1,500, the insurance companies jumped ship and now oppose the bill, albeit for the worst of motives."

"The only industry that refused to knuckle under was the medical device makers. They stood for principle and wouldn't go along with Obama's blackmail. So the Senate Finance Committee retaliated by imposing a tax on medical devices such as automated wheelchairs, pacemakers, arterial stents, prosthetic limbs, artificial knees and hips and other necessary accoutrements of healthcare."

"So these endorsements are not freely given, but bought and paid for by an administration that is intent on passing its program at any cost."

Oh yes, 96% of trial lawyers campaign money goes to Democrats. Lawyers are second largest contributors to Democrat party.

Should I say money well spent lawyers. Democrats can be bought...

Should also helps lawyers because failure to have approved health insurance could lead to 5 years in jail sentence if found guilty.

"Pelosi Health Care Bill Blows a Kiss to Trial Lawyers"

by Capitol Confidential

"The health care bill recently unveiled by Speaker Nancy Pelosi is over 1,900 pages for a reason. It is much easier to dispense goodies to favored interest groups if they are surrounded by a lot of legislative legalese. For example, check out this juicy morsel to the trial lawyers (page 1431-1433 of the bill):"

"Section 2531, entitled “Medical Liability Alternatives,” establishes an incentive program for states to adopt and implement alternatives to medical liability litigation. [But]…… a state is not eligible for the incentive payments if that state puts a law on the books that limits attorneys’ fees or imposes caps on damages."

"So, you can’t try to seek alternatives to lawsuits if you’ve actually done something to implement alternatives to lawsuits. Brilliant! The trial lawyers must be very happy today."

"First and foremost, this legislation contains an mandate that you maintain a “level of acceptable health insurance” all year or face fines and possible jail time for continued non-compliance."

This is a big issue. Ignoring all the other BS in this bill. Affordable insurance needs the well to be in the mix. To let a newly found no insurance cancer patient in is not cost effective. To charge say $600-1,000 each year is one answer. Jail term another possibility. Another is what we have now. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY.

Personal responsibility means you control your own destination. No crying when you choice wrong. If you buy a new car instead of insurance and end up with illness so be it. Don't cry.

Government does have responsibilities. Make health care affordable. Why hasn't obama implemented his cheaper medicine already. Did he not reach an agreement with drug companies. Why is waste in medicare not being addressed. Has nothing to do with passage of this bill. Why not open States up to open competition. Reform tort laws. Lowering insurance cost. Canada has a waiting period for new members with pre-existing conditions.

Make insurance for ALL more affordable. All is the key word. All Americans. All citizens. Those are the ones Constitution was made for.

I heard a Democrat member of House speaking on tv yesterday. About raising taxes of course, on stock trades. He wanted more taxes, but he complained obama did not want obvious direct tax increases, onama wanted indirect hidden taxes. So instead of showing increased tax on per gallon gas at the gas pump, instead add tax to barrel of oil so public would not notice. This is obama's transparency. His honesty. The man I do not like.

Today they may vote on this bill. Did they read the bill. They must rush to pass because it becomes affective in 2013-2015. Rush is to collect taxes to begin immediately if passed. And this money collected will be used as it has always been, used on other projects. Creating another post office, medicare, medicaid, social security etc that is bankrupt and $ trillions in debt.

Enjoy you week-end. Democrats are trying to.

Vote on resolution on now. Not for bill itself. Abortion issue must be addressed and others.

A amendment may get this bill passed announcer said. Stuback amendment ???

Resolution passed, now 4 hours debate…
