The new Chairman of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, charged young Republicans yesterday with the task of living and dieing by the conservative principals they believe in. It was a good moment in his speech, and one worth noting.
The 2009 CPAC conference is proving to be a very positive conference for Conservative Republicans. I have posted the live stream here for any of you who would like to see it as it happens.
I’ll be looking forward to the traditional Straw Poll, which is taken at the end of the conference, to see what the attendees take away from the many speeches being made by prominent Republican Leaders. At some point, we as Conservatives have to take a break from the negativity brought on by the Obama Administration, and take a positive look at our own house, and where we’re going in the future.

The new Chairman of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, in my mind, is right man at the right moment. With “Pheng” powers.
Our stand on illegals should be clear. One of mine is stop new illegals. Jailed illegals and those with records other than minor ones deported. Responsible method for citizenship for law abiding illegals here now. And deportation for those found not following process. condemning o no raid policy. Strong sanctions for businesses hiring illegals. Deportation of illegals found in these raids.
We should not accept illegals being given Americans services such as schools, Social security, food stamps, etc.. No citizenship to children born here by iillegals.
If in program for citizenship in good standing, then that is different story.
All our beliefs should be clear and known so false information can not be spread.

3. Dispell Republican myths- Such as Republicans are all white rich cats.
Show how o inflated estimated future cost of Iraq war are far above expected cost. In order to show o is saving money.
Point is be transparent party. As o had promised and failed to comply with. Be the Democrat “word this week”..Honest.
