New Attorney General Sets Platform of Race Baiting

The newly appointed Attorney General Eric Holder is wasting no time in proving that he is indeed better than all of us when it comes to race relations. Calling America a “coward” with regard to discussions on race, Holder set forth his race-baiting agenda over the next 4 years.

Report from Breitbart:

WASHINGTON (AP) – Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues.

In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.

“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” said Holder, nation’s first black attorney general.

Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but “we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race.”

He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for frank talk about racial matters.

“It is an issue we have never been at ease with and, given our nation’s history, this is in some ways understandable,” Holder said. “If we are to make progress in this area, we must feel comfortable enough with one another and tolerant enough of each other to have frank conversations about the racial matters that continue to divide us.”

He told Justice Department employees they have a special responsibility to advance racial understanding.

Here’s the groundbreaking statements via MSObamaNBC:

The first African-American Attorney General appointed by the first African-American President says the country is a “nation of cowards” on the issue of race. I’m sorry, did I miss something? I know, some will tell me that I don’t understand and race is a “complex” issue and having the first African-American President doesn’t “solve” the problem.

Here’s a newsflash, perhaps people avoid talking about race because unless they conform to the liberal viewpoint they’re brandished as raaaaaaaaaaacists. Perhaps if the race-baiters stop calling everyone a racist with whom they disagree we might have a more open dialogue, ya think?

So basically, according to Holder, Americans elected the first African-American President but we’re all still racists because he says so. Of course, the phrase “honest discussion” can roughly translate to “agree with me or you’re racist.”

There, it’s been said.

  1. Nate, you beat me to this one. I had to calm down a little before tackling it.

    This:

“Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.”

I’m sorry, what would he have me do? Have black friends over all the time whether I feel like entertaining or not? We also self-segragate from co-workers of all races on most weekends, don’t we? My time off with my family is just that. I’m not obligated to entertain anybody I don’t feel like just so I won’t be brandished a racist, and now thanks to Mr. Holder, a racist coward.

I don’t see where there’s anything else to discuss. It would seem to me that the man wants to see the white race walking around on our knees for the rest of eternity. I have nothing to apologize for, nothing to discuss, and frankly I’d rather be in hell with my back broke than to talk about anything race related anymore. Live and let live, and leave me alone about it.

His forefathers could vote 60 years before my grandmother could. He can go to hell with his back broke. I don’t care.

  2. Has anyone else noticed that the word “tolerance” means much the same thing to the liberal left as appeasement. You are only tolerant when you agree with (or to ) their views.

  3. Mr.Holder here is a starting suggestion where we can eliminate racism in America today.Drawup, support and pass legislation eliminating ALL FEDERAL POLICIES AND PROGRAMS that employment preference is based on race.
Start on that and then come back to me.

  4. Now friends, we didn’t think that b/c there is a black President, a black Attorney General, or a black Head of the RNC, that Obama and friends were going to stop playing victim did we? These people are fearful that by electing the first black President that Americans are ready or already have moved on from discriminating against race. Obama and friends are fearful that there trump card has been played. So the only thing left to do is fear monger, and we all know that Obama is good at that. Just look at all these poor souls who are buying his chicken little comments on the economy hook line and sinker. But then again these people obviously cannot think for themselves, they did vote for a man who thinks there just bitter, clinging to there guns and religion.

  5. Rick and Bubba tore Eric Holder’s statements up on the syndicated Rick and Bubba radio show this morning. They said things like apparently we should allot time to all races and groups, and proceeded to list them: black people, asian people, fat people, skinny people, and of course, atheists, among others in an effort to be “de-segrated” in our weekend and off times. I laughed til I cried.
