There's alot of talk between the two conventions but no actions are being taken except to make the rich richer & the poor poorer. Just like all the flooding here in Florida...I live in one of those neighborhoods; FEMA was a joke in 2004 & 2005 and they still are today, but besides everything else; that's our good government again. It's sad what this country is becoming & we're all watching it happen. Just some sorry politicans in Washington that haven't cared about the American people for a really long time. Without domestic drilling, nuclear, solar and wind etc. all being on the table, we will not make the newer technologies economically viable in 10-20 years without killing our economy from rising commodity prices. Oil prices will continue to affect all prices and will cause inflation. 4) The Republican ticket has a unique combination of mavericks who have fought against the establishment. Palin has solid executive experience that was lacking on either ticket. She is an inspiring figure and would be able to step in for McCain. Also, McCain is a known factor in the US and around the world and can be expected to actually do what he says. They both have a record of controlling government spending, exposing corruption no matter the party, and reaching across to the other party to accomplish major legislation. Barack would not be the end of the world. I just think this particular republican ticket is uniquely qualified.
