Obama hasn’t had too many problems raising the cash from his large donor base. Clinton has also faired well. McCain, on the other hand, is still stumbling when it comes to convincing voters to open their checkbooks.
Here’s a video report on the latest figures from the Associated Press:
That’s very interesting to me concerning McCain. Some Republican donors, the ones who donate every time around, aren’t so keen with McCain because of his controversial McCain/Feingold campaign finance reform laws. In a sense, McCain has bit the hand that would be feeding him right now if it weren’t for that. In the Republican Party, the conservative base is the most active in donations and they’re also the group most upset with McCain.
He’s stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. He’s got time, however, since Obama and Clinton are still battling each other.
