Video: Obama bashes the Clinton’s “Dream Ticket” talk

Obama, speaking at a rally earlier today, shot down the notion of the “Dream Ticket” talk coming from the Clinton campaign, video from ABC News:

He makes a good point here, he clearly is still in first place and will probably remain that way based on the delegate math. He could start tossing the “Hillary as his VP” talk but then again, he might not want Hillary as a VP.

  1. Hey, watching this video brought to mind a question I WISH someone would ask both Obama and Clinton. Let’s say there’s no hope for a Clinton/Obama ticket. If Obama should lose the nomination, will he vote for Clinton? And if Hillary loses the nomination, will she vote for Obama? This will be hilarious to watch, will it not? Because whoever loses is going to have to publicly stand behind the party’s nominee……….. or vote for McCain. *LOL*

  2. Obama is making a very interesting point and done properly could completely undermine Hillary’s ‘experience’ and ‘ready on day one’ rhetoric. However, if he doesn’t play his cards correctly and ends up losing the nomination to Hillary, he might lose the VP slot.

  3. nzpudding, do you really think he would ever consider the VP slot seriously? No matter what they say to play nice during the debates, I think there’s a lot of animosity there.

  4. I really do think Obama would consider being VP to Hillary, but not the other way round.
