Dwain, it did seem to be a Romney love fest but he’s been doing all the attacking lately so he got a lot of focus.

englishman, nobody in the United States is ever turned away for treatment either so don’t spew propaganda until you check the facts. Socialized medicine will bring the quality down and basically turn health care into a government-run bureaucracy of crappy care, low-paid staff, and hospitals closing.

I was intrigued by the republicans statement that the US has the best healthcare in the world. In what respects is it better? some research and very complicated procedures maybe, however how many people go to hospital for those things? very few I would venture. They vast majority of people go for things that any doctor can cure.
In the rest of the developed world you are NEVER refused treatment, do not have to fill out forms and harass insurance companies just to be seen or worry about getting treated. The idea that socialised healthcare will bring the quality down for everyone that goes to a hospital is rediculous.
I find the idea of paying for healthcare absurd as does every other developed nation.
