Clinton Camp did, but they didn’t….?

From Fox:

CONCORD, N.H. — A top adviser to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign said Wednesday that Democrats should give more thought to Sen. Barack Obama’s admissions of illegal drug use before they pick a presidential candidate.

Obama’s campaign said the Clinton people were getting desperate. Clinton’s campaign tried to distance itself from the remarks.

Bill Shaheen, a national co-chairman of Clinton’s front-runner campaign, raised the issue during an interview with The Washington Post, posted on washingtonpost.com.

Shaheen, an attorney and veteran Shaheen, an attorney and veteran organizer, said much of Obama’s background is unknown and could be a problem in November 2008 if he is the Democratic nominee. He said the Republicans would work hard to discover new aspects of Obama’s admittedly spotty youth.

“It’ll be, ‘When was the last time? Did you ever give drugs to anyone? Did you sell them to anyone?”‘ said Shaheen, whose wife Jeanne is the state’s former governor and is running for the U.S. Senate next year.

“There are so many openings for Republican dirty tricks. It’s hard to overcome,” Shaheen said.

Clinton’s campaign said it had nothing to do with his comments.

OK let’s look at this whole thing : A Clinton top adviser says Democrats should look at Obama’s past drug use yet they say they had nothing to do with the statement given by him Mr. Shaheen? Ooooook.

They say the republicans will result to using dirty tricks and exploit this but wait a minute….isn’t that what the Clinton camp is actually doing in the first place already? So why would the republicans need to bother when Hillary’s doing it for them?

And the Clinton negativity campaign saga continues……fade to dark as Hillary’s election bid rides off into the sunset.

Sorry, I think this is an issue that needs to be addressed. Using “a little blow” is unacceptable in a Commander in Chief, and it gives rise to wonder if the millions of our youth following Obama as if he’s the Pied Piper is being given a mental and moral pass to do the same. Hillary sets a bad example for women in many respects, but illegal drug use sets a worse example. Just my .02 cents. Again, we’re tip toeing around issues that would fall on anyone else’s head like a hammer, but because it’s Obama, he’s gets a pass. Not.
