Video: Hillary Clinton interview on the Situation Room

In the interview, she explains how she wasn’t on her game for the last debate. It’s quite interesting actually.

First, a news report from the examiner:

On today’s “The Situation Room,” Sen. Hillary Clinton opened up about her widely-discussed performance during last week’s MSNBC debate.

“I wasn’t at my best the other night,” Clinton told CNN’s Candy Crowley. “We have had a bunch of debates, and you know, I wouldn’t rank that up in my very top list.” Following the debate, Clinton’s opponents for the 2008 Democratic nomination (as well as Hillary detractors generally) criticized the New York senator for being dishonest and evasive, and for flip-flopping on several issues.

Here’s her entire interview in two parts:

She tries to set the record straight on driver’s licenses but I think she’s still quite vague. She supports what the governors are doing, but not giving the licenses? Continuing to give answers like that will definitely hurt her in the polls. I don’t understand what’s so hard about this question, do you support giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, yes or no? She can’t say either way.
