Does this matter, is it even worth mentioning?
Via NewsBusters:
During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. — United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171
Turns out that not wearing a flag lapel pin isn’t the only way Barack Obama chooses to show he’s a different kind of Democrat.

You can also see video of the event here.
Well I guess consider it mentioned.
Does it make Obama anti-American? I don’t think so. I think he just really botched this photo-op from a month ago and it’s now coming back to haunt him. Although, one can’t help but wonder if he intentionally chose not to place his hand over his heart or if he just wasn’t paying attention to it. Either way, this kind of press will only matter if he becomes the nominee, which I don’t think he will.
Hot Air has more calling this a “manufactured controversy”. I tend to agree.
Besides, Obama’s got bigger problems. Mitt Romney seems to be confusing him with Osama Bin Laden.

That had to have been the worst national anthem I have EVER heard, STOP RUINING THE SONG PEOPLE!!!!!!!
All I have to say is: Stupid is as Stupid Does! What is this guy’s beef with America? First this, then the lapel scandal… he seems to want to run on the least nationalistic platform in US history… That would be a site… an un-american president!?!
Speaking of Flags … I won’t bet my life on this — being that I haven’t found any evidence on the Internet (like everything there is true!) but I could swear that on the evening of October 13th, either on Fox News or CNN, I saw Obama giving a speech — with two Flags behind him — one being our United States of America Flag, and the other being one of his own design … the Stripes were there, but the Field of Blue had a White “O” with a few Stars sprinkled about … Has anybody else seen this? Just who does he think he is — creating his own version of Our American Flag?
Whats up with that flag? Why isn’t the media saying anything? It takes some big stuff to think you need your own flag.
It was an Ohio flag
