That day showed us all what a true hero is and how america can stand unitified and proud. Even in our deepest grief. Thank you to those and my heart is with the ones who lost loved ones. I may not know there names but they are in my prayers.

  9. I live in Indiana, and I remember to this day, the way I felt when I first saw the pictures of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. I remember what my husband and I were doing when we heard and saw the footage, and what we did for the rest of the day. Both my husband and I feel great sadness when we see the footage and remember the day. Along with the following months of searching for survivors, bodies, and the cleanup efforts. I was also very sad when the body of the Port Authority dog was found, and I felt he deserved to be carried out on a stretcher with the American flag draped over him. He gave his life just like anyone else. My husband and I will never forget that day and the way Americans bonded together to help their fellow American.
God Bless America!!! God Bless the Firefighters, Police, Emergency Workers, and the Search and Rescue Groups with their dogs!!!!!

Please help us to learn and forgive as well as be strong and supportive. God, we need strength even though it’s been many years since those filled with hate have killed many innocent people in our country and we would like to thank you for your love as well as pray for you to give us the ability to learn that we should never take one day for granted. We were all caught with our pants down that day. Wanting to persecute people for waterboarding is silly. Waterboarding saved a lot of lives that day and the days following. We need to be ever vigilant that this never happens again!

I left school that day with this empty feeling. Our would collapsed that day. Sitting on the floor i looked up to the sky and it was the most beautiful weather. it should have rained that day. the feeling i am sure we all had these passing years will never be competely gone. We as americans will never forget the pain we went thru or the lives we lost that horrific day. I believe we are now stronger because of this tragedy. Bless Every single american no matter ur background. War is not the answer. We were hurt so causeing more pain is the answer? America needs closure on this topic.

people are dying with unknown names

    Disaster was the final master

running, crying, jumping out of windows

    no time for laughter

    Oh America, Great America

    Will this bring us together?

    Surprising innocence of death

    Not even being expected yet

One tragic incident never to forget

The pain, the mess, Can we handle it?

    Love is being wasted

    Taken place by hatred

    Giving is apart no more

Is Devastation what we’re living for?

    More Crime!! More Crime!!

Stricken by the clock of time

How many more lives must die?

    leaving parentless children to cry

Oh my father in heaven I ask Oh Why?

Do we live in a world of the fiery eye

    Wickedness, Wickedness

    has brought on emptiness

    Terror, Terror

    has become a dangerous warrior

By a sick twisted individual slayer

Can we now as a people awake?

    For the W.T.C.’s loud quake.

Reading all the things that people have Writen has made me cry….. I left New york in 2002 and have not really been back as i really dont want to see the place where so many lives where lost and the one i loved. Me and my wife worked in them I was in the South Tower and my wife in the North. I heard the news and as people were talking about it the office and the first thing i thought was my wife ok. I had to leave and try and find her. She was on the 105th floor i was leaving the build when the second plane hit. I never found my wife. She died that day and we only got married in july. Now i live in australia and have always paid no attention to what is happening with the Trade centers site. I have heard they were building a new tower to replace it. The freedom tower but that was awhile ago now.. and as someone said

  52. I don’t agree with what people did to the World Trade Center Buildings. I also don’t agree with invading countries in retaliation to what happen to the WTC Buildings.

Afghanistan and Iraq did not declare war on the United States. Al Qaeda declared war on the United States. The Taliban attacked United States Troops as they invaded Afghanistan.

Perhaps if the United States government would admit that they do not have the right to tell a country how to run itself, and we do NOT know what is best for the world, and we did NOT occupy countries all over the world, and we did NOT invade countries and have our military occupy them, etc etc etc we could have prevented such things as the WTC Buildings attacks.

Perhaps if we continue to invade countries all over the world we will ultimately be declared war upon and be invaded. If you notice we do not invade Korea though we have documentaries of how badly people are treated there, why?

We are not innocent. That is my personal belief. I am not asking anyone to agree with me.

  59. I’m sure reading comprehension was not one of your strong point growing up Bill but if you try very very hard you will see that this statement were meant that, “If it had been the United States attacking a country, people like yourself would have found some sort of justification of the actions of this country” and, “Manifest Destiny or the American’s did it for the greater good of all of those we conquered and the Buildings were an accident but we shall continue to push forward in the Annexing of yet another foreign land” is the type of excuse I expect of supporters of US Military action, not of my own, as I know there are far few accidents committed by the US Military I’m sure. Though they may claim such I’m sure they are all calculated.

So again, I didn’t say the WTC tragedy was an accident, it’s just your lack of brain power that wishes I did such. Run along and play jacks or something kiddo.

Which means started long, long ago, as as many centuries implies.

If having “brain power” is to think like you, empty my brain of all matter Dear Lord. Fact is I wonder who besides you “felt privileged to live in a time when such a thing happened and can’t wait to see more.” Referring to WTC. Terrorist for certain would agree with you. You have said it began centuries ago so has little relevance to America’s actions today, according to one version you spout in this article. You seem to be wondering the field seeking absolution or justification for your stunning, disgraceful remarks. Which are undeniable OUT OF LINE HERE.

  64. Bologna. This country was built on the backs of slaves and indentured servants. It was conquered through the brutality and annihilation of those who occupied the land before the British. Don’t kid yourself. We are not free as your cry daily about government controlling our lives, yet when its convenient for you, you shout blind patriotism. Bologna.

I’ve got no problem with living here but I do have a problem with many of its citizens. Here’s to September 11, 2001, and all the September 11th’s that have come after that date in foreign nations, created by those who fight for what they believe in.

  65. Well you got to shout and inflict your venom. Hope you feel better.

There is no Nation where original natives still rule it’s land and has throughout its history. If there is name it !!!

You name BRITISH. Wow, let’s go much further back than that. Just for a name how about Spain. You wish to condem the NATURE OF THINGS. Say the IMPERIALISM word (well not this time did you use). Why not just stop breathing. You justify fighting it. Yours is HOLY. Hey, they all were right.

You mention SLAVE. Your ancestors may have been sold into slavery by the native chief. Does that muddy your muddy waters. All slaves are not BLACK.

In you last paragraph is ok for freedom fighters, but in first paragraph was terrible of British.

“Normal is in the eye of the beholder.”
    Whoopi Goldberg

Your views are thankfully are those of very small minority. Terrorist are very few in number. I think you deserve the freedom of Iran or controls place upon everyday people in many middle east Countries. Real civil rights you know here in comparrison. Is why you stay here.

There is a Country where people enter in the middle of the night in great numbers. You should go there and be much happier. Wait that’s here. In Iran and Mexico entering without papers you go to jail. Not exactly what Arizonian is doing. But be against Arizonia law like Holder without reading. Great liberals !

Mexico in 1824 invited Americans upon their land. We bought the Louisiana Purchase and Alaska.

Facts have never interfered with your beliefs. In fact you have argued against what I have written without reading what I wrote. So you have admitted. You knew what I said. I dare say you probably still do that.

To paraphrase Whoopi murder is acceptable depending on who it is. Not Kennedy/Martin Luther King, yes WTC. Is in the eye of the beholder. So you say.

    Bologna I like.

Just for the record. Africa had territorial take overs long before the white man. Is a natural occurrence.

I said nothing about “my ancestors” nor did I mention any race or ethnicity, like you always do, you put words in my mouth.

“But be against Arizonia law like Holder without reading.”

I read the law word for word and posted on this site that I agree with that law. Again, your words are worthless.

Also like you always do, you try to make what the US does seem ok by saying that other people did the same thing. What’s wrong is wrong. Apologies go a long way. Admitting when something is wrong is not easy to do I suppose. I said I had no problem with living in the U.S. but when I finish school I will travel abroad and I can’t wait.

I’m glad I give you something to talk about. You’re Welcome.

  67. You jump to conclusions:

“I said nothing about “my ancestors” nor did I mention any race or ethnicity, like you always do, you put words in my mouth.”

You have said you were black. Slaves were bought from chiefs and brought here from Africa. Is possible they were your ancestors.

    My exact quote:

“You mention SLAVE. Your ancestors may have been sold into slavery by the native chief. Does that muddy your muddy waters. All slaves are not BLACK”

Notice the words “may have”. Did not say “did”.

No words put in your mouth. I use “” to put words in your mouth.

I said Holder did not read. Not you:

“Not exactly what Arizonian is doing. But be against Arizonia law like Holder without reading. Great liberals ”

I read your comments on the law. Jumping to conclusions !

I have no apology to give. You wish to cause rivers to run up steam, not face reality. Winners takes land. America has behaved differently and certainly needs not apologize. Unlike Russia we freed the middle East and other lands after WW2. Iraq could have been ours in 1949.

    Dream on in your dreamland.
