From Political Wire:
According to the latest Evans-Novak Political Report, “important supporters” of Sen. Hillary Clinton “are laying the groundwork for a campaign against Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) for Vice President on grounds that he adds nothing to the ticket. Prominent names offered as alternatives: Former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner, Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) and Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.â€
Somewhat surprising to me considering Obama remains popular and likable, compared to Hillary who is popular and unlikable in most polls. According to his website, Obama is exciting. I don’t think the same can be said about the relatively boring Evan Bayh.
However, Obama’s perpetual foot-in-mouth disease could be one of his numerous negatives. Wouldn’t want him advocating more of his genius foreign policy positions. Sheer genius.
