Note to Environmentalists: Al Gore is a Fraud

Just examine this:

A Daily Mail investigation has revealed that far from saving the planet, the extravaganza will generate a huge fuel bill, acres of garbage, thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions, and a mileage total equal to the movement of an army.

The most conservative assessment of the flights being taken by its superstars is that they are flying an extraordinary 222,623.63 miles between them to get to the various concerts – nearly nine times the circumference of the world. The true environmental cost, as they transport their technicians, dancers and support staff, is likely to be far higher.

The total carbon footprint of the event, taking into account the artists’ and spectators’ travel to the concert, and the energy consumption on the day, is likely to be at least 31,500 tonnes of carbon emissions, according to John Buckley of Carbonfootprint.com, who specialises in such calculations.

Al Gore and the entire global warming movement is a fraud. If he really cared about greenhouse emissions, he wouldn’t be wasting so much to hold concerts on an issue that couldn’t be more shoved down everyone’s throat. You can’t turn around without hearing some fraudulent trash about global warming. How about a Live Earth concert to raise awareness for an issue that actually matters, like the goal of radical Islamists wiping out civilization as we know it? I’d pay good money for that.

Go ahead, call me a “denier”, I wear it with a badge of honor because there’s no chance I will ever be fooled into the global warming mafia, and you shouldn’t be either.

‘LIVE BAIT’ Concerts Expected to Lure Millions as Alternative to ‘LIVE EARTH’ Events

The fishing forecast for today, July 7, is rated “GOOD”, according to ESPN’s Daily Fishing Forecast web site, leading many to believe the turnout for today’s LIVE BAIT Global Wormingâ„¢ Concerts on the Water will be high.

Taking place at local fishing spots across the country, LIVE BAIT events are aimed at outdoor lovers who would rather go fishing than waste time in front of their televisions watching LIVE EARTH concerts organized by former vice president-turned global warming alarmist Al Gore.

While music for most LIVE BAIT events will be provided by chirping crickets, croaking bullfrogs and other natural musicians, some heavy-metal entertainers — including Evinrude, Johnson, MerCruiser and Yamaha, among others — are expected to perform as well.

There are no prizes for most fish caught, largest fish or any other category. Instead, fishing enthusiasts are simply encouraged to go fishing and, as much as possible, to use LIVE BAIT — preferably worms — since scientists recently confirmed that worms are a leading cause of global warming (For more info, see this Bob McCarty Writesâ„¢ post, Global WORMing Responsible for Global WARMing).

Fishing enthusiasts interesting in purchasing LIVE BAIT t-shirts and other commemorative merchandise can do so by clicking here.

It doesn’t seem like you have been looking all around the world to support this anti-global warming thing. You can check this because you like to check stuff. Where I used to live in the mountains of Peru i saw global warming. I saw it especifically in the city of Huaraz, which is a valley right next to a mountain range, Cordiera Blanca (White Range). There the snow caped mountains have been loosing thier glaceirs inch by inch every year and there not coming back. If global warming isn’t doing it, what is? I know that Al Gore has a bad rep, but not everything he says is bogis.

  • It blows me away when I hear arguments like “Al Gore’s concert pollutes the environment,” or “we saw Al Gore getting off a private jet.”

Are you people actually serious when you say stuff like this. Take 2 seconds to actually think it through:

    1) Any amount of environmental pollutants put out by Al Gore’s concert, or private jet, would pale in comparison to the benefit of raising environmental awareness. This is a tradeoff that is GOOD for the environment.

    2) I think people who make these comments also don’t understand what being green is actually about. Being green is not about lowering the quality of life. It’s about being more efficient within the quality of life that we already enjoy today. If you want to drive around in a big huge Hummer H2, then let’s make sure we build them as efficiently as possible. If you want to fly in a privat jet, fine, let’s just make sure we build those as efficiently as possible too. If you want to live in a 20 room house and can afford to, fine, let’s make sure it’s efficient. Get it? If we make everything as green as wel can, we can continue to live at our current standards and probably surpass them. So let’s cut out the nonsense about who’s doing this or that or the other thing, and work toward making everything as efficient as we can.

    3) Finally, for all the people who expect Al Gore to live like he’s broke, I’ve got news for you. Al Gore is a millionare. He’s a millionare becase he worked hard and he deserves to be a millionaire. It’s the American dream folks. It’s not reasonable to expect millionaires to live in two bedroom shacks and drive Chrysler fortwos. Let’s get serious. If you’re a millionaire you’ve earned the right to live a life of higher standards. That’s what America’s all about. Especially if you’re Al Gore and have important work to do.

So next time I hear people saying such ridiculous comments as “I saw Al Gore geting off a private jet,” or “Al Gore lives in a 20 room house,” or “Al Gore’s concert pollutes,” please people. Wake up. Al Gore is an environmental champion. That’s why he just won the Nobel Peace Prize. Fortunatley the people who awarded him this prize are smart enough to understand these things. As to the rest of you……well…..reread the above.
