Hot Air has a great clip of Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) concerning an amnesty bill. McCain, unfortunately, is quite weak on illegal immigration and I believe that issue will be the great divide in 2008. It is shaping up to be a fight already in 2007 between conservatives in congress and the Democrats aligned with the President (good game).

Either way, DeMint stated he would hold his ground as did John Kyl (R-AZ) the other day also from a Hot Air clip.
